What is the SEK LIBOR interest rate?

The SEK LIBOR interest rate was the average interbank interest rate at which a large number of banks on the London money market were prepared to lend one another unsecured funds denominated in Swedish krona. The LIBOR rates have been gradually phased out over the past few years due to various scandals and concerns about reliability. This process is now complete, and no new LIBOR rates are being published. To compensate for the disappearance of LIBOR, several alternative benchmark rates have been introduced, such as ESTER (Euro), SOFR and CME Term SOFR (U.S. Dollar), SONIA (British Pound Sterling), SARON (Swiss Franc), and TONAR (Japanese Yen).

The Swedish krona LIBOR interest rate were originally available in 15 maturities, from overnight (on a daily basis) to 12 months. In the table and chart above, we show the SEK LIBOR interest rates that were most recently published.
