What is the 5-month USD LIBOR interest rate?

The 5-month USD LIBOR interest rate was the average interest rate at which a selection of banks in London were prepared to lend to one another in American dollar with a maturity of 5 months. Over the years, LIBOR rates have been gradually phased out, driven in part by a series of scandals and increasing doubts about their reliability. With the process now complete, no new LIBOR rates are being issued. That is also the case for the 5-month USD LIBOR rate.

In recent years, various alternatives to the LIBOR rates have been introduced. For example SOFR and CME Term SOFR (U.S. Dollar), TONAR (Japanese yen), SONIA (British pound sterling), SARON (Swiss franc) and ESTER (Euro).
